Jayme Martin

Past President

Jayme is a native of Syracuse and is no stranger to planning Pride Festivals. He started his Pride career in Boston as the Festival Chair and after 5 years he brought that experience back home to Syracuse.
He started as
board member for CNY Pride and after a year he became Vice-President and in
August 2015 he was named President.

Jayme is honored to be part of CNY Pride and is proud to be part
of the LGBT Community here in Syracuse.

Jason Galvez

Secretary
-
Jason Galvez was born and raised in Upstate NY. He honorably
served eight years in the military (four in the Army and another four in the
Air-Force), while earning his graduate degree in special education.
He
has taught public school in central N.Y. as well as in Brooklyn, Atlanta, and
Washington DC. In addition, he has worked as a paid actor and singer.
Currently, while being an invested spouse and parent, he continues to
prioritize his very important philanthropic and volunteer work.
Jason
also writes for his faith-based, civil rights blog
and is actively promoting his recently published children's book, "I Am
Loved Right Where I Am." "It is a privilege to serve on
the board of CNY Pride and feels as it is my duty and obligation to not only
give back but pay it forward!"

Donna Setrella
Retired Employment & Training Specialist from OCM
BOCES & Part-time employee of NYS Agriculture & Markets. Hospice of CNY
Volunteer 20+ years.
Magna Cum Laude BSSW (Social Work) Graduate from Slippery
Rock University in PA & AA Graduate of OCC. CNY PRIDE Board Member 3 years
and proud Nonna (Grandmother) of 2.

Joseph Adamo
Joe had joined CNY Pride in October 2011 and currently serves on
the Board. He has helped strengthen the statistical aspect of the events Pride
sponsors.
Joe earned his degrees at Oswego State University, Chapman
University and Syracuse University. He is also a Certified Business Manager
(CBM). He has also served as a management consultant and trainer to Fortune 500
corporations, Not for Profit organizations, and many small businesses located
in central New York region. His clients include: AT & T, General
Electric, General Motors, Carrier Corporation, Otis Elevator, AXA Equitable,
AIG, Chase Manhattan Bank, Verizon Communication, Target Inc., Pass Seymour Le
Grande, Wal-Mart, Syracuse Police Department, local construction and service
organizations located in central New York.
Joe has developed training manuals for clients such as “How to
Build a Retirement Portfolio”, “Diversity in the Workplace”, “Understanding
Generations XYZ”, “Finance for the Non-Financial Manager”, “General Ledger
Systems”, “Supervising Difficult Employees”, “Accounting for Non Skilled
Employees”, “Creating a Harmonious Work Environment” “Management and Employees
Interactions” “Gay and Lesbian employees”, “Gender Equity” and issues
related to specific managerial problems. His area of expertise is
accounting, and behavioral issues in a work environment.

Troy Waffner
Acting NYS Fair Director
Troy Waffner grew up and graduated from Cazenovia High School before continuing his education at Morrisville State College and Empire State College. Waffner spent 14 years working for the state legislature, serving as Assemblyman Bill Magee’s right-hand man for more than a decade. Waffner also went on to work as Senator David Valesky’s Director of Policy Development. In 2010, Waffner took on a new role as Assistant Director at the New York State Fair, overseeing various departments including maintenance, concessions and off-season events. In April of 2014, Waffner began working as Acting Director of the Fairgrounds and has continued serving as Acting Director through three highly successful fairs.
